Today wasn’t a good day for a bike ride. The burning sun raised temperatures to a peak of 38 degrees (100.4 °F). But while everyone else stayed indoors, in air-conditioned shade, I elected to go for a short ride around the neighborhood to get some air, albeit hot air! It felt good to be out of the suburban streets of Melbourne once again.
