Lighthouses hold a particular fascination for some. There are many coffee table books featuring pictures just like this. However, this particular lighthouse won’t feature in any of them because, it’s not a lighthouse. It is, in fact, another chateau d’eau.

Following on from yesterday’s picture of a water tower I felt sure I had found one that someone had converted into a home or workspace. But no, after a closer inspection it seems that the lighthouse looking water tower is still an active water tower for the village of Morancez, France.
