After yesterday I needed today to be an easy Sunday. But I wanted to at least see the local beach at Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula before we headed back to Melbourne. It was busy with kite surfers, a pastime that looks like so much fun! They skimmed across the surface of the water while the New Spirit of Tasmania sailed passed in the background on its way to Port Melbourne.

It looked like a perfect day to be out on the water, and also a perfect day for my friends to go wine tasting too, which is exactly what we did. I drove because I didn’t feel like drinking that much. It was a fun day that turned my weekend around. I still don’t feel 100%, but hopefully some rest will remedy that.
