It’s a beautiful summer Sunday in Melbourne so after a long brunch with friends I head to South Melbourne beach with my friends ‘Baz’ and Madeleine. It’s perfect beach weather and the water’s edge is busy with people soaking up the sun, playing games, and splashing around in the water.

‘Baz’, whose actual name is Andrew, looks out at the beach as I snap pictures of the reflection in the sunglasses he’s wearing. You can clearly see me, or rather my camera, in the reflection.
