A watercolored world

This is Tal-y-llyn Lake, a stunning glacial ribbon lake in Gwynedd, North Wales. The curvaceous road that sweeps and rolls its way into the valley toward the lake is one of those roads you never forget. It’s the kind of road that makes normal cars wish they were sports cars, and sports cars wish they were motorbikes.

The lake itself is quiet and still, its icy water reflecting rippled clouds. It’s a watercolor world hiding in plain sight, free from the confines of the canvas and frame.
