  • Bridge artist

An artist sits on the Pont de l’Archevêché, a bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris. In the background stands one of the city’s most well-known landmarks, Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The bridge recently fully reopened after it was partially closed earlier this year so authorities could remove the ‘love locks.’ They were causing danger as metalwork on the bridge began to fail under the weight of the thousands of padlocks that love litterers had placed there.
