There is no story to this picture. I just liked the uneasy weirdness of the photograph. Mannequins in general feel somewhat creepy to me, but strangely enough I like photographing them.

I think it would be interesting photography project to follow the ‘life’ of a mannequin from its beginnings in a high end fashion store, through various damages and dismemberings, to its final days at a charity shop or the sketchy windows of a thrift store somewhere.
