In Singapore’s Botanic Gardens a large monitor lizard looks over at me suspiciously as I move in slowly to take this photograph. I don’t know a whole lot about these creatures apart from the fact that it wasn’t likely to try and eat me! At about 1.5m long it was a pretty imposing character and so I didn’t get too close, just close enough to take this picture.
