This is the shadowy face of King Kong, as seen in 2005 remake of the classic 1933 film. I came face to face with Kong today while visiting Weta Digital, the digital visual effects company famous for the Lord of the Rings movies.

I’m sure there are all kinds of facts I could tell you about Kong and the digital effects for that movie, but to be fair I didn’t bother reading anything about it. Instead I went around the museum looking for buttons to press and videos to watch.
