“If you ever find a flight attendant attractive just ask for her number because she will give it to you.” That was the advice a flight attendant once gave me on a redeye flight from Chicago to the UK. “We live from one airport to the next and our schedules make us the loneliest girls in the world,” she said.

It didn’t occur to me until a long while later that she might have been encouraging me to ask her for her number. After all, she had been smiling at me and plying me with free drinks for the entire flight. At the time I assumed she was a particularly friendly and attentive flight attendant and nothing more.

I haven’t asked any flight attendants for their number, and I only mention this because there really isn’t much I can tell you about today’s picture which I snapped just before I boarded my flight and left the Philippines.
