I’m in Manila and It feels good to be back in a city. This evening I stood on a balcony of the apartment I am couchsurfing at, and for a few minutes just listened to the chaotic symphony of city. The sound of traffic and construction filled the air and on any other day I might seek refuge from the noise, but today it felt oddly refreshing to stand there and let the racket re-charge me.
