Anyone who knows my photography will know that I am drawn to perspective shots. Spirals hold a similar fascination for me. They occur all over nature and less so in the built world, and I can’t resist the opportunity to photograph them.
The picture today is taken from the top of a rather unstable fire escape staircase on the outside of a deserted building. From this angle it reminds me of a Fibonacci spiral that you might see in a seashell, but maybe that’s just my overactive imagination.
