These haunting faces are the work of French artist Anne Bothuon. Her fabric sculptures are as eerie as they are beautiful. ‘The Crowd’ (pictured) was just one piece in a collection of often full-bodied figures standing in various poses. For me, the sculptures evoked a feeling of almost morbid curiosity as I looked upon their strange yet familiar body forms.
