I’m on an early morning train out of Paris, heading to Carcassonne in the south of France. The hypnotic flow of scenery by my window compresses the hours, shortening the otherwise long journey somehow.

I took today’s picture somewhere just outside of Toulouse. It’s probably the ugliest view I had all day long on the train, but I liked it somehow.
