There are going to be some people who look at this picture and think it’s cute, and yes, it is cute, but please, is there really any need for dog clothing? Our four-legged friends come with fur in abundance and as yet I have not seen a labrador evolve to the point where it’s sewing a rather fetching evening gown, or a scarf for those cold autumn strolls?

Of course, it’s not the dog who chooses its new coat, no sir! Given half a chance any dog would rather be rolling in the mud than standing around like some prom date waiting for a ride.

I suppose I could be wrong. After all, I am not a dog owner/companion/partner, or whatever the politically correct term is these days. Maybe dogs do indeed want to dress up and move that little bit closer to the human race. So what next I wonder? There’s an opportunity here for an innovative mind and I think I might just have the thing.. Dog cigarettes.

Yes folks, this could be big. Think about it, there are many dogs out there, and while a few might be your poncy coat wearing types, I think a lot more could be enticed to take up the smokes! Once addicted their owners/companions/partners, or whatever the politically correct term is, will have little choice but to continue shelling out to keep their pooches puffing. It’s an opportunity with potential, and given the slowly declining popularity of smoking among humans, I feel sure tapping into this new market of hoodie hounds who want to be more like us, is a sure-fire money spinner winner!
