Rush hour

  • It’s early morning in Cambodia and two women in a village near Siem Reap slowly commute to work on their bicycles. It’s a scene that is repeated in countless villages and towns across Asia, and one which I think captures something of the culture in the way that perhaps a photograph of hundreds of people sitting alone in their cars locked in a traffic jam might capture something of the culture of the west.
