Today’s picture is reminded me of a skit from the TV show Portlandia. The show makes fun of Portland, Oregon, my favorite city in the United States.

I took the shot in a bathroom of a café that had clearly just been built. It made me smile to think of the owner looking at the wall and concluding that they should ‘put a bird on it.’
